Will this sound card work???

i am building a computer and im going to be running an intel core 2 duo. i was wondering if the M-AUDIO Delta 44 Professional US41110L 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface 4-In/4-Out Audio Card would be compatable with the core 2 duo

That's a standard pci type device. The cpu on the system isn't the thing to consider. The actual problem will be driver and software support if you are planning to run Vista and not XP. The minimum requirements for that model are 98SE, ME, 2000, and XP with SP1 suggesting you will have to look to see if updates are available for Vista.
