will this video card be an upgrade or downgrade for my Emachine???

I was looking threw some of my other computers and ran acrossed a
2001 ATI R128P Rage 128 ULTRA video card.
I just recently purchased an E-machine W3629 that came with a 27 inch flat screen monitor and when I expand video to full screen the picture runs a little choppy, like a slight shudder. Will this old video card be an upgrade or downgrade for my computer...

Thank you for your reply, I found another video card that was free to me...same question for the same computer, is this a up grade or downgrade from what I already have?
It is a RAGE128, looks to be made in year 2000 and is also ATi technology.

thats almost the same card and older the response your looking for is no it will be of no use to you
if you have a budget me or another member can find you a decent graphics card.

also what country you live in

alternatively you could update the drivers for the graphics on the emachines
go here and choose your model

then select vga driver
