I am deciding to build a new pc, and i have a supplier for all my parts and i am not worryed about saving some money.

Please can someone tell me that all these parts will work fine with each other and whether the IDE cables come with the mobo and whether the heatsink will come with my cpu.

Thanks - if you can suggest anything better let me know.

Micro ATX modding case with clear side window – £30.00

Intel Pentium D 960 3.5ghz 2x2mb cache. £230.00

Asus S775 Intel 915PL ATX Audio LAN - £147.00

Kingston DDR2 1GB SODIMM £81.00

GeForce 6800GS 512MB GDDR3 TVO - £153.00

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus10 250GB - £53.00

HP L1906 19” TFT - £175.00

Core 2 Duo will future proof you.

Also, that case supports ONLY Micro ATX, whereas your m/b is a full-sized standard ATX.

Yeah you should think about going C2D, The board price there that your looking at is ridiculous for a last gen Proccy series.

Spend the £230 on a E6600 and get a board around £150 and your sorted for gaming plus whatever else you want to do.

Or.

You could Get an E6400 instead and save £80 (This wil also easily overclock to 6600 Speeds.)

This means you can spend a little more money on your graphics card and maybe get something like a 7900GT or X1800XT/X1900GT

Do you have anu suggestions for the Motherboard i should buy for a E6600. If the E66006 is better i will buy it therefore i am asking which motherboard is the best with this type.

Slower clock speed

yes core2 duo is a slower cock speed but overall performance will eclipse the pentium D

note that almost all AMD's were much lower clock speeds but overall performed as good and often better than the equivalent Intel line.
