Yes, but it'll run at reduced speeds as your motherboard only supports the older SATA2 standard. Nothing you can really do about that though.

It'll still run a lot faster than a regular mechanical harddrive though.

It's SATA2. It's running at 3Gbps hence the name on the board is SATA3G.

SATA3 runs at 6Gbps bandwidth.

Mind you, the bestbuy link you posted for the 850 evo ssd, you'll still need a sata cable and quite possible a 2.5" to 3.5" ssd adapter mount. Unless your computer case has an area dedicated for 2.5" size drives. You'll still need a sata cable regardless though.
