Ok i have my computer now. But if i take my HDD off and put it in another computer, will everything be the same eg desktop, saved and installed games etc. or will i have to format or lose things (or find them again).

The Windows on your HDD is 'keyed' at the moment to your current MoBo. If you install it in another system and boot to it, you'll have to install the new drivers at the least, and reformat/reinstall Windows at the worst. You can, however, hook it up as a Slave and just use it as-is for storage.

since you will had different motherboard and drivers on the new PC, then you must install a fresh copy of the windows.

but with installing the fresh copy of windows, you can choose to format of to keep you computer as is (well thats what ive heard)
