Will this work?

I have an Hp Pavilion a1720n computer, and i was going to buy more ram for it.
will a 2GB kit (1GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-8500 memory module, work on my comp?
 
Your computer only supports up to pc2-6400, not sure if the 8500 will downclock to 6400 or not. I would just get the 6400 memory, i've found that HP's tend to me picky about the memory they want.
 
wait sorry, wats the difference between a 2GB kit (1GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module, and Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Kit W/ LEDs...does one work better than the other?
