Will this work????

ok thanx but the 2 modules that are already in are 184pin and it does fit in the slot. The problem is that when its installed windows doesnt load up. So i tried putting it in place of one odf the old modules and windows loaded up but i got lots of error messages and no programs worked.

IM pretty sure that wont work, for an intel mobo you will need 240 pin memory.

It's quite obvious that you aren't sure enough, Burgerbob. Did you even read the specs of the system? It has an Intel 865PE chipset, which only supports 184 pin DDR memory, not 240 pin DDR2 memory, as you seem to think.

And, that system posted is already using 184 pin PC2700. Are you expecting him to somehow get the 240 pin RAM to fit in the 184 pin slot? I'd love to see that work.
