and I wonder if this ram

will work with it I mean I know it is the right kind but how will I adjust the mobo's voltage settings for it?

The mobo should be able to post with the RAM at 1.8V, I don't remember corsair having problems with the early 965 boards BIOS. If it doesn't post borrow some cheap DDR2 RAM and update the BIOS/set voltage to 1.9V or have a shop do it for you.
