ok my brother has alot of computers in the house so i decide to just make one out of the blue i know alot about computers and everything i am making ti just for quake 2 because all of the scraps arent that good the best grafix card right now in our scraps is is the voodoo 3dfx card= crap so i have the hard drive memory etc. i turn it on and the monitor dosent turn on what do i do?

What do you mean by not turn on? What does the light do... is it green, yellow, blinking, or steady? Most likely there is some hardware incompatibility issues.

Are you sure everything is compatible? That could be your possible problem, it's also possible that maybe some of the parts just don't work at all. Do you know what the specs are?
