will vista use alot of processor speed?

vista needs mainly good graphic card because of the new interface...
and about the ram i heard that vista uses all the available ram memory, but when someone program needs more ram it can free it...

I just got my vista home premium 64x running and no it doesn't use all the memory. You do need at LEAST 2gb memory to run Vista well though. At idle with 54 processes with media player, utorrent, steam, and MSN runing, it takes 1.4GB of RAM, so I'd suggest at LEAST 2 gigs. Vista kicks ass man. What are those critics talking about. Oh ys it does use a lot of processing power BTW. With those same processes and applications running its using about 7% of my processor%. When you open applications is when you really see it needing processing power, getting up to 50% and over while opening applications.
