Maybe you are using Windows 7 and even you think it is very good for you, but I think many people have different view on this, and delay a couple of months to upgrade ,or think XP is the best for them and Windows 7 is unwanted.

What's you opinion ?

we should go for trying new OS

my opinion is to use windows 7 and explore its new features

I used XP for years, vista for a couple of months and now 7 for about 2 weeks. all are great, but each has their pros and cons. UAC is the worst "feature" i have come across... along with the f'ing HUGE thumbnails vista likes to set as default.

Because of the price of Windows 7, I'll most likely stay with Windows XP until the need to upgrade to 7 comes along (Such as min. requirement for games/software = Vista/7). Maybe also wait and see if they release service pack 2 for windows 7 to fix any problems that might arise in the current.

I'll be running Windows 7 Ultimate soon. :) I hear my friends dont have any problems with Windows 7 so i guess it's good.

I like win7 its def better than vista, i have it on a separate hdd but, theres nothing i can do on win 7 that i cant already do on xp, so theres really no necessity for me to change to 7 personally.

I am using windows 7 starter edition on an Asus 1005AH with a 1.6 GHz processor, 1GB ram and 250GB HDD.

I love it and I think it is better than vista and certainly better than XP. The only problems with starter edition is you cannot change the desktop background officially although on the Asus website they give you a program that can change it. It would not usually be that important but the original background is dull and outdated.

Some people may also experience wifi connectivity problems as I did. The computer could not get the wifi network name so it would refuse the connection. With the small processor and windows 7 starter and 1GB ram it runs well and start-up takes around 45 seconds.
