this thing has seemed to spread through our school so fast.. was on a students usb and when plugged in it runs a .exe which starts a prossess that cant be ended in task manager .. and in detection of a removeable drive it transfers onto that... to get rid of it we stuck the usb into a mac because of corse it did not work on the mac.. and stoped it there

darn this is very hard, past my experience because it is on a network.
Please message john35 on his profile, this will probably stretch him but he should be able to help you get to a solution. Without unplugging all the computers from network and installing same fixing software on each one.

That virus is network aware so will spread through your network quite fast. If the flash drive is infected, you will need to run flash disinfector on it.

You can download flash disinfector and run it with your usb flash drive attached to the system. It will create an autorun file that will stop any infections from getting on it.

  • Please download Flash_Disinfector.exe by sUBs and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click Flash_Disinfector.exe to run it and follow any prompts that may appear.
Note: Some security programs will flag Flash_Disinfector as being some sort of malware, you can safely ignore these warnings
  • The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive and/or other removable drives including your mobile phone. Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well.
  • Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
  • Reboot your computer when done.
Note: Flash_Disinfector will create a hidden folder named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. Don't delete this folder. It will help protect your drives from future infection.

Wow sounds like a nasty virus, I was thinking manually transferring it would be slow but lots of students use flash drives.
