win 7 pro help

I have all SATA 2 Hard Drives now wen I install win 7 pro I don't want to setup a RAiD I just want to use all my sata 2 hard drive indapandently.

But I still want to be able to use the sata 2 Data Transfer speeds.

Am I right that win 7. pro will just see all my drives as SATA 2 and need no Drivers to be installed?

OK now in my BiOS under how you want your Hard Drives handled it has

iDE
RAiD
AHCi or somnething like the last one.

Sould I use the last one for my SATA 2 drives?
 
IDE and RAID are not what you want. Set it to AHCI and then install windows, it will use the correct things if it's set to AHCI in BIOS.

Secondly, it is important to install all motherboard chipset drivers from the manufacturer, so check your motherboard's driver cd for all install packages, not just the autorun setup.

Thank you that is what I ment

AHCI is to be used if I want to just use my SATA 2. Hard Drives Indapandently and not have then in a RAiD.

And am I right I will also need to set it to AHCI to be able to use my E SATA Port as well?

Please tell me if I am right on both of these?
