Win 7

My tech put his win 7 on my machine, I am sure to keep us on his dime. Problem is he is 100 miles for us as we live far from town now.

So now the system is asking for the disk to fix a problem and I don't want to have to keep running back and forth to him. Can I buy our own copy and install it on our machine with out losing everything on the drive cause It has tax stuff from clients and church stuff we just can't loose. If not what do we do?

Yes, Home Premium. 32 bit. All I am seeing is Home Premium in 64 and 86 bit is says. I am sure I have is 32 bit. I will take all the help I can get. Does Microsoft have a fix it site out there. I am using their Microsoft fix it but it doesn't much work as far as I can tell.

If you have 32 bit then you need the x86 version. X86 is 32 bit. What message are you actually getting?

Something about it found a problem and I should put in the disc and let it fix it. I am not exactly sure what is says for sure. I would have to reboot it. I can tell you it has really slowed down lately.
