:) hi im using windows xp home, and when i use the disk defrag ,it completed the defrag but i keep gettin a message sayin some of the files could not be defragmented.is this a serious problem?

I get that often as well. That is not a large concern unless you have problems opening or using that particular file perhaps an incomplete download. If you see 0% in the analysis report you have no concern other then a file that you eventually will find somehow. I get that here with video captures as well as a few other things(game saves, saved docs, etc.).

On many occasions you will see the volume at 0% while seeing some fragmented or partially fragmented files being listed. I've run into that countless times on various types of files where nothing has ever effected Windows itself while a video or audio file may have become damaged or incomplete as far as how the system tools sees it. When the numbers get real large you will also be seeing the volume fragmentation being elevated.
