win xp pro wouldn'tload keeps rebooting?

hi, have a problem, everithing was working fine, my zone alarm trial expired so i swiched to a free firewall only version, all of a sudden when i turend my pc on win xp pro wouldn't load keeps rebooting over and over, tried recovery consol, windows repair , chkcds&mbr commands, no luck, is there any way of fixing it without formating and reinstalling?or may this be a hardware problem?was looking for solution, found people having the same probs but unfortunatelly no answer, can anyone help please?

my specs: pentium d 830
1024 memory(2by512)
250gb hdd partitioned
cd rw drive

yes i tried last settings...i think...I've tried many things so a bit confused now, anyway it starts loading, shows all the usuall "dos format" pages, recognises hdds, cd all seems normal, then when gets to "win loadig" bit rebooting and starts all over again
 
one more thing, when formating will taking battery out and earasing comos benefit building a new system, from scratch sort of?

the drivers are the probelm yes i know u ran in safe mode that means your bois is saying something about the driver is not true and windows is trying to do that
