Win XP w/Celeron CPUs?

The MS Windows XP web site states that the min system requirements to run Win XP are a Pentium CPU of at least 233MHz. Can I load the Win XP Home version on an old HP Pavilion with the Celeron (500MHz) processor?

Simple answer, yes. You might find XP runs a little bit slow....

In your signature it says 733MHz and 384MB RAM.....


Are you talking about the same machine? If not, how much RAM do you have on the 500MHz machine?
