Win7 & WinXP Pro Compatability

is there anyway...maybe with a patch, registry entries or any other methods that we cam maybe simulate the xp operating system on a windows7 machine. for example i would like to play one of my old games on win7, obviously it wont be compatable...but is there anyway to bypass it?

No. They're two totally different operating systems. Why not just dual boot XP and 7?

umm thought so. i also tried windows7's xp mode but still with no luck...oh well. thanks for posting.

And if you do a duel boot, xp has to be loaded first then 7. Also, if any of your old games are 16bit, it will not run on a 64 bit OS.

Incorrect. You can load XP after 7 has been installed. You just need to create a second partition and then use a tool (can't think of it right now) to repair the Windows 7 boot manager.
