Bloody Laptop, it's an Acer...with wiindows 7 64x. Trouble beeing that microphone keeps comes on while down loading with internet explorer.
Realy shits me too, cause when i close the lid, to put to sleep.
It screeachers,,fickin loudley.

Almost blowing me brain OuT..!:angry:

For the mean while try disabling it

Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound

Then right click the mic and press disable
 
Come to think of it. I think this started to happen after I installed skype, but not 100% sure....

And,,,yes I've uninstalled skype,,, using "Revo Uninstaller Pro". But the problem still remains...

Anyone got any idears...?
