winamp problems!

when i lower the volume on my winamp it lowers the entire system volume...why does this happen? ...and how do i fix it?

Almost all of the media players I have seen control the volume that way. There isn't anything you can do about it (other than use your speakers volume control instead)

I've never had my winamp lower the main system volume. What version of Winamp are you running?

Yeah, I have the same with my PowerDVD :S, but not with iTunes...

all dvd programs ive tried lower the system volume, ive never seen that in winamp though

v.5.08c this happens to my another person i know. WMP doesnt do this, my dvd players dont do this, itunes doesnt do this, nothing else except winamp lowers the system volume...anyone know how to fix this?

You try going back to Version 3 (best one IMO) or just re-installing 5.0?

I like winamp 2.8 myself, 3 (the first or second release anyway) had too many issues

im on 5.? now, but i prefer WMP because people on my msnc an see what im listening too
