Window 10 update problem

Windows 10 will not download. I get this pop up ; " The installation failed in the FIRST _ BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE _ DATA operation.

What does this mean and how do I make this work. Thanks in advance.

Use a different web browser? Download may be corrupt.

Delete everything from Software Distribution folder within C: and try again.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps:

1. Press Windows Key + R.
   
   
2. Run will open, type msconfig and hit the Enter key.
   
   
3. A system configuration box will pop up.
   
   
4. Click on Boot Tab.
   
   
5. Select or click the check box Safe mode with networking.
   
   
6. Click on Apply and ok.
   
   
7. You will then see a restart button. Click it to restart your computer.
   

Once you are in safe mode try installing Windows 10.

Why would you go into safe mode to reinstall Windows? It can easily be done in Windows normally. Also, i don't think this is needed. Its an update problem, simply requiring a deletion of Software Distribution folder contents.
