A system configuration box will pop up. Click on Boot Tab. Select or click the check box Safe mode with networking. Click on Apply and ok. You will then see a restart button. Click it to restart your computer. Once you are in safe mode try installing Windows 10.

Okedokey Well-Known Member Nov 24, 2015 #5 Why would you go into safe mode to reinstall Windows? It can easily be done in Windows normally. Also, i don't think this is needed. Its an update problem, simply requiring a deletion of Software Distribution folder contents.
