hey people, does anyone know if i add xp home edition 2 my current computer with win 98, will it run and b activated?
 
If you have the CD + the CD key (and you will if you buy it) and you have more than 128 RAM it should be fine. Thats cause XP takes up more RAM than Win98.
 
Yea. You need to buy the cd and restall it. I think you gotta add some parts too it. That's what my bro did. Turn 98 into xp.
 
thanx ppl. last time i added a xp disc it sed i did not hav a ppropriate updates. not sure if i need to get them of the net. pleas reply
 
i hav a amd duron processor and a 40 gb western digital hdd an recently added extra 256 mb of ram so it is now 512mb
