Windows 10 and music

Hi there, so I have heard that unofficial music doesn't work on Windows 10. I heard that it erases it and I found out that is not true, although a friend told me that on his computer it doesn't let him play it. I'm wondering if this is true, especially because I edit music to a different frequency and it is very important it works. If my edited versions of legit songs don't work I would not want windows 10 at all.

I have been using Acid Pro 7 on my windows 10 computer for over a half a year now and have never had any problem like that. I do a lot of remixes of original songs and make my own tracks. So I'm pretty sure you should be okay.

I have a Windows 10 computer in the house, I don't use it much but I just looked and all my music is playing. I would be willing to bet audio format and compatibility with the default music player.

nope,it plays just fine.this was a rumor when win10 was coming out.
