windows 10 drivers incompatible and wont install

Now my wife wants windows 10. I was just going to do a upgrade for her and get the following message.

'Display manufacture hasn't made your display compatible'
And it refers to Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT. Checked for updates but
found nothing. Says its up to date. Any other ideas.

Nope. Driver support stopped way before Windows 10 was a thing.

You can try to see if Windows 8 driver would work for it?
 
Tried and same thing JohnB. Same error. Still trying to figure why the driver would have anything to do with it.
The computer is old though. Windows 7 is still good for about 3 yrs. Was that correct?

Sometimes you can get older drivers to install on Windows if you right click on the .exe and test for compatability and then run with suggested settings. I was able to get a pretty old AMD GPU to install on an old laptop with Windows 10 that way using a Vista driver.

Windows 7 is supported into 2020 I believe.
