windows 10 pro installation

Hello,

My friend recently just gave me a product key to windows 10 pro. I was just wondering how to install windows using that product key. I know you have to transfer something to a USB, but I'm not sure what. I just recently built this PC, so this will be my first time turning the thing on. If someone could just list step by step what to do, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Alex

If that code doesn't work, you can find OEM keys for around $30 USD on some of the game selling sites. Not sure if I can list the name of the site, but it's been fine for me so far.

They are legal, so yeah you can name the site, I bought my 8.1 Pro key for my desktop on G2A for about 30$ last year, then upgraded to 10.

I've bought my Win10 Pro keys from Kinguin.net and they cost anywhere from $26 to $32 with the full protection (in the event a key is no longer valid).

Great deal as far as I'm concerned.

G2A sells stolen keys. I bought a WoW sub on there that got revoked by Blizzard after a few days for being a stolen or reclaimed key. Usually they acquire keys in currencies that are worthless and sell them cheap, or find them in various other ways. Usually they are legal but sometimes you get unlucky. Most key selling websites function similarly and most of the time they work fine, but I wouldn't outright endorse G2A.
