Windows 10, showing e instead of question mark using the keyboard

I can correct this using two methods but it is only temporary . When the computer restarts it reverts back to the e again. What is a permanent solution to this É

You should be able to change it in regedit.
This program should make it easy to do so. Haven't tried it myself, btw

Actually I managed to fix it on my own. At the bottom right hand corner of my screen I deleted "English Canada " version and have just the "English United States" keyboard now.
