Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 questions

Hello !

I want to buy windows 10 today. I will upgrade my desktop PC from windows 7. I currently have 2 drives my SSD drive which is drive C: and my hard drive which is baclkup drive E:

If I buy and download and install Windows 10 will it install onto drive c: and leave drive e: alone? Can I put anything I want to save to drive e: and the files will be fine?

Will installing Windows 10 delete everything on drive c:

Thank you so much for any help

No reason to buy Win 10, if you want to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 you can still do that for free, I just did it with one of my machines the other day. Just download the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. As long as your Win 7 license is valid, you will end up with an activated, licensed Win 10.

You can upgrade the OS on drive C: and leave everything else on that drive alone. The upgrade will not effect drive E:.
