windows 2000? or older?

anybody still use windows 2000? or anything older? i just upgraded my Inspiron from 2000 2 XP Home last night, runs it goood...

i like 2000, i think it's a great OS, just prefer XP better, prolly cuz im used 2 using XP, and cuz of the themes..

i was also thinking about upgrading my Solo 2 XP Pro/Home lol, dont know which, would this be a good idea? ...maybe i could sell it 4 a little more ahaha...

no thats not a good idea, it barely meets req's

and u will have virtually no hdd space

I keep 2000 installed on atleast 1 computer, really overall I like 2000 better!

Personaly i would have kept 2000 on it.

Windows 2000 is realy good,I wouldnt mind going back to Win 2000 anyday.

i like xp over w2k. w2k is a great os, but xp has a better fit and finish.

i had a 5.12GB HD in my Optiplex when i 1st got it and it held XP Pro SP2, only had about 399MB's free though with everything i had installed and everything ..

Yeah actually I do. I have Windows 2000 Advanced Server on my main server, Windows 2000 Server on my file server and Windows 2000 Professional on my printer server. I actually like Windows 2000 Server better than Windows 2003 Server, maybe because it's what I'm used to, I'm not sure. As for a workstation, I prefer the look and feel of XP over 2000, so I have XP Pro on both workstations and XP Home on the craptop.
