Windows 2000 password ??????

I sold one of my dell pc's to a guy, and he was messing around with it(dont know exactly what he did) and now windows is asking him for a password on start up. What can I do to help him? I never used a password before on this pc.

Has he tried just leaving the password feild blank? Or loging in using the administrator, also with a blank password?

yeahh, you can just leave fields blank, should work...

if it has like ex. John, tell him 2 type in like his name, and hit enter...
