Windows 2000 server problem

I have a W2k server already installed DNS + AD .. I use the nslookup. I can see the dns server. I use another win2k server in same network brand new isntalled is able to logon to this internal dns server also. But I have no idea why I can't logon with a windows xp pro. Windows xp said is can't connect to the domain

Also I view the event viewer from w2kservr it has a error said DNS name does not exist.

I just tried the windows xp logon again. it said :

An error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location(SRV_ resource record used to locate a domain controller for doamin blah.blah

the error was:" No records found for given DNS query"
(error code 0x0000251D DNS_INFO_NO_RECORDS)

The query was for he SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.blah.blah
