I am building a computer and I was wonder wether to get windows xp pro or to get windows xp 64, I am going to be mainly gaming on my PC so yeah which one should I get
vista have 32 and 64 bit.. but since its vista beta.. like 4w4k3 said.. you dont want to deal with betas.. it isn't stable
but as of 64 bit.. you will have to build your system from the ground up to support 64 bit.. if anything is 32.. it wouldn't be compatible with 64 bit.. so you will have to deal with that.. and as of right now.. nothing is really out for 64 bit.. most games and softwares are 32 bit right nowl.. so you should get 32 bit regular xp now
like in most compiler and any os upgrading, like windows/dos from 16 to 32 bit, better you have 64 bit, i am sure that in 64 bit still you can run your program or os which made on 32 bit even 16 bit, the system will give you adapter for that. so, if you have 32 bit system, the 64 bit, next generation program/application definitely wont run.
Yeah I read some reviews of the program and it runs everything fine it is just a hassle to find drivers. I went ahead and got Pro cause I really didnt want to mess with finding drivers for everything. Thanks for the input everyone and hopefully it is helpful to everyone.
