I did the same thing as mep, got mine for $50 from newegg when you were first able to preorder.

it actually does, they're legit keys for the full versions of windows.

As others have said both come in the box (mind you, its probs still only one license key )

I thought OEM can only be activate once for one computer and retail verison is the one which Microsoft would probably reactivate the key. @_@

It's been free since they released the Beta...

Does anyone know if they have a student discount?
Or can you "upgrade" from the windows 7 beta with an upgrade version?

You can upgrade from the RC, but not from the Beta, as the Beta can no longer be activated.
