Windows 7 Beta Version Question

I have a copy of Windows 7 Beta. I wanted to be able to use this copy of Windows 7 to do malicious software scans. From my understanding Windows 7 Beta only works for about an hour then you start getting random shut downs.

I would use it as follows: I would install the Windows 7 Beta Operating System, scan a files for malicious for several hours then erase the operating system. Would the installation still work without crashes if I were going to use it for something like this?

The Beta is expired. I don't think that the install would take. Would it?

Why not use a Linux live disc to do the scans? It seems like what you are proposing would be a much greater hassle.

How can you use a Linux operating system to run programs like Spybot and Malwarebytes?

it will install i believe but once it is active it will shut down every two hours and remind you that it is not genuine

I just installed Windows 7 32-bit Beta Version on a separate 37 gigabyte hard drive. It is giving me 30 days to activate my Windows 7 Beta version. So this is plenty of time to do malicious software scans.
