Hi to all
I have Windows 7 on my PC but one time when i turned on i saw a dual boot menu but just with Windows 7. I tried the first one and the windows started but when i tried the second one the PC restarted. I did a format but didn't help - i still have just windows 7 boot menu... So my problem is how to remove the second Windows 7 from the dual boot menu?

You need to edit your boot.ini file but don't delete the wrong one. However, try this.

Go into the msconfig utility by clicking on start and in the search bar type "msconfig" without the quotes. When it loads up click on the boot.ini tab, click the button that says check all boot paths and see if it finds an invalid path and delete it. Most likely what happened is that you reinstalled windows along side itself instead of formatting and reinstalling or doing a repair install.
