My Windows 7 desktop computer clock keeps changing to an incorrect time frequently. Can anyone advise how to correct the problem?

The cmos battery is a little round battery on the motherboard that keeps the motherboard settings intact when the machine is off. It also keeps the real time clock at the correct time. So if I would start by replacing it. It's usually a cr2032 battery and the local electronics/hardware store should have them.
