Windows 7 DirectX Broken!

I have DirectX 11.

I have to say I have 2 OS (XP and 7) and since XP is broken, I use 7.

Now when I go to dxdiag I hav e only: System, Display, Sound1, Sound2, Input tabs
while I was on XP I had dozens of tabs.

Thats when I go on Windows7, but when I go on XP's dxdiag. It has more tabs,
but DirectDraw test doesn't work (error message)
and Direct3D doesn't even have test. Both "Activate" and "Test" are gray.
I have tried to download-install it many times but NOTHING happens!

2D games barely work, and 3D, not at all...

Please help about this!

What are the specs on this computer especially the video card or onboard video? My first guess would be that your hardware is so old that it doesn't support directx 11. Most likely only up to 8 or 9.

Thats probably true.
Here's what I collected:
Name: VIA Chrome9 HC IGP Family WDDM
Architecture: VGA
Memory: 128MB
Refresh: 60Hz
DAC type: Internal
Driver version: 7.14.14.50
I have no idea about the Name but I suppose all other arguments are normal.

You may be right, and graphic card may be weak, but I want to run older version of DirectX, but as I said, When I install it, nothing happens.
DxDiag still shows the same version.

You are better off going back to XP. This system is like more than 6 years old?
I would like, but its broken...
I'm going to reinstall it soon, but until then I want to fix this.

And no, I think I have the computer for about 2 years or less.

I just need to atleast uninstall DirectX so I can install the new one.
DirectX9.0c worked fine if I remember correctly.

Can you atleast tell me how to uninstall it?

You can't uninstall directx 11 its integrated into windows 7. Do this. Download Speccy and post the results you get for hardware.

When the program opens, click on file, click on save as text file. Then all you need to do is copy only the info under the top "summary" section and paste it in your next reply. Will look similar to mine here.

I made it to fix it.
I found a way to uninstall DirectX11, and install DirectX 9.0c.

All programs work now.

Are you sure you didn't just update DirectX and that happened to fix your problem?

No. I have found a program that could uninstall directX11.

After that, dxdiag was just showing "x" in "system information" and other.

Then I just downloaded directX9.0c and installed it, then I restarted my computer, took GTA to play, and it worked.

Though, dxdiag is still showing "x"-es instead the real info.
But the most important thing is that it works.
