I just finished building a new computer from parts and loaded in the Windows 7 OS. There is only one account on it, mine, designated as the Administrator.
But I ran into a problem when I wanted to load in an application program CD that I have had for years, the OS refused to do it, claiming that I did not have the privileges necessary to do so, and that I have to log off and log back in as the Adminstrator. I have never had any problems loading this CD in my other computers using XP.
What is going on? I am the Administrator of the account, and as I stated before, there is the only one account on the system. Why is the OS not reconizing this?
Any suggestions?
