Windows 7 errors

Hi all, when i started up windows 7 it maked updates to service pack and it stopped at 15%. I rebooted my pc, win dows logo showed up but it didn't started, now i have to stick XP and Opera again.... The problem is that on XP I can't develop my minecraft mod
Help?

Should I reinstall WIndows 7 on the same disk? (i have XP on disk 1 partition 1 and 7 on disk 2)
