I recently installed a game that also installs a ttf file under windows/fonts into the fonts. However, when I uninstalled and tried to re-install that game.
It says it couldn't complete installatiion because it couldn't replace the ttf file in the fonts folder.
So, then... I looked in the fonts folder to delete the TTF file, I found that the ttf file it is trying to replace wasn't there. However, the windows/font folder for windows 7 was viewed in a weird format.
so I got suspecious and went to the command prompt, navigated to the fonts folder and used cd c:\windows\fonts and typed "dir" and sure enough, the font that i was trying to delete was there.
I tried to delete that TTF file using del c:\windows\fonts\"filename" but i ended up with access denied.
So, I opened up the command prompt in administrator, and tried to delete the ttf file, but it still gave me a access denied.
I need to delete this TTF to be able to install this game, as the game isn't able to install without installing the ttf file. (a big programming program with the installer in my oppinion) how do i delete this ttf file?
Also, How do i change the folder view of the "windows/font" folder into normal view
