windows 7 fps problem.

Hello i just installed windows 7 and i am now getting very low fps.

I am currently using a gt9600 video card and I have 3gb of memory

Is the problem that the video card is not made for windows 7 and the newer version of direct x or the low amount of memory i currently have?

On rift and black ops i am getting 15-20 fps.

i am not sure of the problem but it may help other uses if you specify what your fps was before installing windows 7.

So you are saying that on windows 7 itself, you get about 7fps? How are you checking this?

Did you install the nvidia drivers or did you just let windows install the video driver? You need to go to nividia's website and download the 32 or 64 bit drivers for windows 7, they have them both.

Black ops actually does play better on XP, since they coded it so badly when ported from the xbox (older hardware), and you really need a powerful CPU for black ops, as well.
