Hello ,i'm using win 7 ultimate ,when i tried to change my logon background by another one of mine.
I used the registry editor to make a DWORD value in this next path : "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background" naming the value "OEMBackground" and set the value data to 1.
Then i turned to the windows explorer and followed the path : "C:\Windows\Systrem32\oobe" and created a folder named "info" with a subfolder named "backgrounds" within where i pasted my desired picture and named it "backgroundDefault.jpg" ....Note: the picture size is 90.8 KB.
All of that worked and the picture set during log on and off.
Next day i wanted to change it (No idea why i decided to do this xD) and when i did it broke....No more picture is set ,just the default background of windows 7.
Whatever i tried to do ,no use ,i tried to set everything like it was and to begin allover again but in vain.
I hope anyone could help me ....
