Windows 7 Multiple Problems!!!!

Hi,

I am having serious problems with windows 7 ultimate all of a sudden, it started by itunes refusing to open and now it has a 1/10 chance off booting when I turn it on. On top of this It will not fully recognize my external hard drive properly so I cant backup my files, It does not copy files either it just says calculating. Please help I really don't know what to do as I have so many important files, programs and a lot of music on there which I really cannot loose!!!

My Pc Specs are:
Intel i5 2500k
Ati Sapphire Radeon 6670
Gigabyte Motherboard
Samsung 500gb 7200rpm HDD

First thing to do would be, Back all your important stuff on either a dvd or a thumb drive..
just in case. RUN a Virus scan...

Try checking your hard drive. Go to Computer, then right-click on C: and open up Properties. In the Tools tab click Check Now, then click Start.

looks like your hard drive is failing.
suggest that you save/install your drive into another computer and copy/backup your files. You may also try to use HDD enclosure so it will be USB cable.
