Windows 7 on my PC?

I was wondering with my current specs if there are 2 things i could do without seeing the results of my "aged" PC. its not that old but with all the new processors and OS. my PC seems already out of the loop.

First thing : I would like to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 when it comes out.

Second : I was wondering if i would be able to run Reason 4, a Music producing program.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks :)
 
Yes, you will be able to run Windows 7 without any trouble. Windows 7 requires 1.0GHz of processor and 1GB of RAM in order to run.

Yes, that will work just fine.
 
Yea your pretty much set to go with that system,A faster processor would be niceif you ever decide to upgrade but im not saying your current one wont perform very good :) .
