Windows 7 on xp laptop

I loaded windows 7 on a toshiba 6100 laptop. I upgraded the ram and it's running fine.
Here's my question. I didn't think about the drivers for the laptop being for windows 2000 and xp. If I download the drivers from the toshiba website and install them, do you think they will work with windows 7?

Do you need to install any drivers? Check the device manager.

I don't believe the XP drivers will work, but heck you can give it a shot..

I'm assuming that if you try to install them they will fail and ask you if they have installed properly. You could try, but it could go wrong
