Windows 7 per order offer has changed.

In the UK according to amazon were i pre-ordered it on the 15th of july.
Full or upgrade? Customers ordering between 26th June and 23:59:59 GMT on 31st August will receive the full version of Windows 7. Customers ordering between 1st September and 22nd October will receive the upgrade version
 
Did Amazon not have a upgrade and normal version then?

At Dixons they had a 'Full Version' and a 'Upgrade Version' (cheaper for upgrade)
 
Hi,

Could you confirm where you saw this on the Amazon site? I ordered on the 29th September though my order still states the full version. If they send me an upgrade version I'm gonna raise hell.
 
It isnt just people who ordered from Amazon everyone who ordered between the dates specified will get the full version.

My understanding re: windows 7 was that the Disk is the same for full and upgrade.

The only difference is the code that you get with the disk. I had read this several months ago on the net. Don't remember the source I was reading it from.
 
Well why don't they say this on the products page?! Will I be able to upgrade from Vista HP 32bit to 7 HP 64bit?
