Right i think im gonna order 7 ....because i just know that when the Rc expires im going to wish i had puchased it at the lower price.

But my question is...where the hell do you pre-order a x64 bit version? all of the sites ive looked on in the Uk dont mention if its x64 or x32...or do you get both disks and you choose which one?

have not purchase windows in a long time :D....i dont want to pre order a copy to find myself stuck with a 32 bit version :D

tks guys

The upgrade version includes both 32 and 64 bit versions. I'm not sure about the UK, but here in the states, the discounted upgrade versions are no longer available - you have to pay full retail price.

They just recently released pre orders to the UK iirc, and if i remember right they can even clean install, beause the EU antitrust regulations dont allow it to be bundled with internet explorer, so it cannot install to a previous install of windows.

Yeah thats right, it requires (I'm pretty sure) a clean install.

You want to order it quite quick as ebuyer and amazon were both of stock already yesterday. I got mine from PC World for £44.99 with free P&P.

Doug.

I would just buy the $109.00 Vista OEM with the included copy of Windows 7.

Or, you could just buy the Windows 7 Upgrade for $119.00 I guess. lol

Thanks for your replies all! :)
