Windows 7 Upgrade?

Yes it does.

You can upgrade directly from Vista as long as you go from 32bit to 32bit, etc.

To upgrade to XP, you need to backup your files, boot from the disc, and choose "Custom (advanced)" install.

I thought upgrade only worked on Full Versions, and not OEM versions.

In Canada, our Best Buy/Future Shop doesn't even sell OEM versions.
You have to pay $230.00 for Windows 7 Premium Full Version.

So, what is the difference between Windows 7 OEM and Full Version?
One has phone customer support from Microsoft, and the other
doesn't?

oem vs full .. oem you get a disc.. full you get a chessey book and a 1-800 number to call for no help. need i say more.. and yes you can upgrade an oem version of vista that was preinstalled...

OEM vs Retail makes no difference as far as upgrade goes.

OEM is tied to the first computer it's installed on.

You're correct about the support.

Now i have installed an oem on another machine. but the i had to take the old one off the internet to activate the new one. It was with the first ed. of XP Media Center Ed. 2002
