I've been toying aruond with Video editing lately a bit - which involves alot of moving - editing - deleting files when done - etc. Everything is working fine - except when I go to manipulate a video I've got loaded into my Windows 7 media Player. Everythign freezes up - b/c it's trying to remove a file that's being used.
I can fix it with Closing apps in my Windows Task manager - loading a new video into the Media Player and I can modify / move / delete the files after it's no longer loaded into media player.
The thing that continually snags me - is even when I close the media player - it keeps the most recently viewed file loaded in the player - Like it goes into pause mode - rather than completely shutting down. Is there someplace that I can change a default - and have the media player actually close and have nothing loaded on the player when it's closed - so I don't accidently freeze up my PC.
It's not a big deal - just kindof annoying and I'd like to fix it if there's a simple way.
Thanks
