Vista Ultimate actually runs better on my Media pc than Windows 7.

Go figure.

I have Vista Home Premium atm it's ok but with dial up it's a pain in the ass xD all these updates trying to install and I have to stop them

Turn off automatic updates then

I did but some times other things try to download so now i set my firewall to block everything but things like firefox

auto update is the first thing i disable when i install a program (should it have it). I hate that crap

I doubt it, especially when people think the price is a rip off, because it's just a
"tweaked version of Vista".
