We really need more information than this. How old is the printer, and is it a printer or printer/scanner combo? I know some units don't have the latest drivers available. Even my couple-month old HP printer scanner doesn't have full support in 64-bit operating systems (at least since I first installed it).

Honestly, there's probably not much that can be done... If Epson doesn't have drivers that support Windows 7 or 64-bit operating systems, then it's simply not supported. There may be alternative drivers that'd work with limited functionality or beta drivers around, but that's about it. If it is just a printer, I'd say look into a new one. Some printers are so cheap, it's almost as beneficial to buy new printers each time rather than getting ink cartridges!

i had this trouble with my hp photosmart c4280. couldn't install it until recently when they released the damn drivers.

you didn't install it yet? it works fine with windows 7 64-bit and it worked fine with vista 64-bit. what problems did you have?

Check Windows 7 Compatability center Here

If it works on Windows Vista - it should work on Windows 7. With my printer - I had to go to Brother's website to get an updated driver for Win 7 64 bit. If Win 7 lists it as compatibility you might want to check Epson's site for updated driver.

i think one of the printers hes having problems with is an epson1270 i will see him later and ask him
thanks
